Kombucha is a light-bubbly fermented drink based on green tea leaves, water and sugar. After brewing the tea, a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts (SCOBY) is added. The SCOBY feeds on the sugar from the tea and helps good gut bacteria grow.
Kombucha is suitable for use any time of the day: drink 1-2 bottles. When using kombucha for the first time, it's best to let your body get used to it.
