Rooibos is a South African bush whose green leaves undergo a fermentation process after harvest, giving them their recognisable red colour.
Why drink rooibos tea?
Rooibos tea is free of caffeine and contains very few tannins (bitterness). This makes rooibos a suitable tea to drink in the evening. Thanks to its sweet taste, rooibos tea is also an ideal drink for children.
How to use rooibos tea:
Add 5 g of powder to 200 ml of soy or rice drink for a shake, or 2 g to 70-100 ml of near-hot water for a relaxing rooibos tea.
