Benefits

Benefits of spirulina

Spirulina is strictly speaking not an algae, but a cyanobacterium. Like algae, this microscopic bacterium can perform photosynthesis. This is why spirulina is sometimes called blue algae or blue-green algae. Spirulina owes its blue-green colour to a combination of the green pigment chlorophyll and the blue pigment phycocyanin.

Spirulina, energy all day long

Because spirulina grows in salt water, this superfood is rich in minerals. Iron and magnesium, for example, ensure that spirulina powder helps reduce fatigue and tiredness. Vitamins B1, B2 and B3, also present in spirulina, contribute to a normal energy-yielding metabolism. The proteins in spirulina support healthy muscles and joints.

Felt efficiency, present concern

Hello, I have been consuming your spirulina powder for a month, and I am already feeling the positive effects, which I greatly appreciate. However, I learned that spirulina, due to its cultivation method, can contain traces of contaminants, particularly heavy metals. I wanted to know if Purasana has implemented controls to prevent this type of contamination. I hope to hear from you soon, thank you in advance. Have a great day and thank you!
