Purasana Himalayan Salt comes from the primordial seas that occurred millions of years ago in the Himalayan mountains of Pakistan, at a time when environmental pollution did not exist. Himalayan salt was therefore able to escape pollution and other harmful effects of nature. These primordial seas have long since dried up but the salt was preserved naturally. This unique salt is now mined naturally to preserve its pure properties. The salt is completely pure and contains minerals and trace elements.
