Ingredients
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 125 g unsalted butter
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 100 g blonde sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 130 g flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 60 g cacao nibs
Finishing touches
  • Walnuts
  • Hazelnuts
Preparation
  • Melt the chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Using a hand mixer, mix the brown sugar, white sugar, and eggs until frothy.
  • Add the chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture and gently fold together.
  • Add the cacao powder, flour, salt, baking powder, and cacao nibs and fold again until you have a smooth dough.
  • Preheat the oven to 170°C.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take a tablespoon of dough per cookie and place it on the baking sheet. Leave enough space between each dough ball. Sprinkle the nuts over the dough and bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool. They will harden once they have cooled. Finally, finish with some coarse sea salt.
