These homemade bars combine the soft flavor of cocoa with the natural energy boost of maca. Packed with nutritious ingredients and free from artificial additives. Ideal as a healthy snack to keep your energy levels up in a pure way.
- 150 g Almonds
- 75 g Chia Seed
- 60 g hemp seeds
- 50 g pumpkin seeds
- 25 g Cocoa Powder
- 25 g Maca Powder
- 20 g Coconut Blossom Sugar
- 2 kg cinnamon
- ½ kg sea salt
- 400 g dates
- 100 g pure chocolate
- 50 g cacao nibs
- Add the almonds to the food processor and blend until fine.
- Add chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, cocoa powder, maca powder, cocoa nibs, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt, and mix briefly.
- Add the dates and mix again until a sticky dough forms. Add 1 tablespoon of water if the dough is not sticky enough. Repeat until the dough sticks sufficiently.
- Cover a large baking dish with plastic wrap, distribute the mixture, and press down firmly with the back of a spoon. Place in the refrigerator.
- Melt the chocolate au-bain marie in the meantime and pour it over the energy bars. Finish off with extra cacao nibs. Place back in the fridge for 2 hours, until the chocolate has completely set.
- Take out of the fridge and let it rest for 5 minutes so the chocolate can soften. Cut into pieces and serve immediately. Enjoy!
