Create your own version of the iconic Snickers bars with natural ingredients like nuts, dates, and dark chocolate. Without artificial additives and refined sugars, but packed with flavor and texture. Perfect as a nutritious snack to enjoy mindfully.
Ingredients
For the dough
- 180 g almond flour
- 65 g Purasana Soy Protein
- 80 g honey
- 50 ml plant-based milk
For the caramel layer
- 250 g Dates
- 100 g Peanut Butter
- 80 g peanuts
For the chocolate layer
- 250 g dark chocolate
- 2 tsp Purasana Coconut oil
Preparation method
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add the almond flour, honey, protein powder, and milk to a bowl and mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into the baking pan and press down with the back of a spoon. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Add the dates and peanut butter to the food processor and blend until smooth. Mix the peanuts into the caramel sauce.
- Take the baking pan out of the freezer and spread the caramel layer over the dough. Place in the freezer for 1 hour.
- Take the baking mold out of the freezer and cut into 12 equal parts.
- Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil and dip the protein bar in the chocolate until the bar is fully coated.
- Lay the protein bars on a baking paper and place them in the freezer for 15 minutes, until the chocolate is completely hard.
