Recipe Moringa Cake with Greek Yogurt & Lemon Zest

Recipe Moringa Cake with Greek Yogurt & Lemon Zest

Ingredients

  • 210 g Greek yogurt
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 80 g sunflower oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 kg baking powder
  • ½ kg Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Lemons, the zest
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 el Moringa Powder

Preparation method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, line a baking pan with parchment paper, and set aside.
  2. Mix with a hand mixer the eggs and sugar until a frothy mass forms. Then add the sunflower oil, lemon zest, and vanilla extract and mix again.
  3. Add the yogurt and mix until a smooth mixture forms.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder, moringa, and salt to the mixture and mix together with a spatula.
  5. Place the dough in the baking pan and put it in the center of the oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
  6. Remove the cake from the oven, place it on a rack, and let it cool completely.
