Description
Hojicha is a roasted green tea from the Japanese city of Kyoto. Its specific roasted aroma gives it a mildly sweet and nutty flavour.
As opposed to other teas, hojicha contains very little caffeine, making it an excellent evening tea.
How to use hojicha powder?
For a delicious hojicha tea, use 70-100ml of water that is maximum 80°C hot and steep 2g of powder in it for 2-3 minutes.
For a fresher taste, steep the tea briefly; for a more complex flavour that brings out all the aromas, steep the tea slightly longer.
