Give your classic oatmeal a colorful and nutritious upgrade with grated beetroot. This simple recipe combines the fibers of oats with the mild earthy flavor of beet for a warm, filling, and healthy breakfast that’s just a little different.
Oatmeal with Beetroot
Ingredients
- 200 grams of Oatmeal
- 2 tablespoons Red Beet Powder
- 800 ml Almond Milk
- A pinch Himalaya Zeezout
- 1 tablespoon Baobab Powder
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
Toppings
- 1 tablespoon Cacao Nibs
- 2 coffee spoons Chia Seed
- 1 tablespoon dried Blueberries
- 1 tablespoon dried Cranberries
- A handful of fresh raspberries
- A handful of fresh blueberries
- Some sprigs of currants
- Some sprigs of fresh mint
Preparation
1. Add the milk, oatmeal, beetroot powder, cinnamon, salt, and baobab powder to a saucepan and let it simmer gently.
2. Divide into the bowls and finish with the toppings.
