These beautiful jars taste at least as good as they look and are great for breakfast, a snack, or dessert. Just a few minutes of preparation and you can enjoy such a delightful jar tomorrow morning. And you can enjoy them for the rest of the week too if you want, as they can be stored for a few days.
For 2-3 servings:
• 100 g oats
• 300 ml (almond) milk
• 3 tbsp Greek yogurt
• 1 tablespoon Purasana Chia Seeds
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• to serve: nut butter, fresh fruit and Purasana Cacao Nibs
For the chia-raspberry jam:
• 125 g raspberries (frozen is fine)
• 1 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tbsp Purasana chia seeds
First, make the jam. Put the raspberries in a saucepan and mash them a bit. Add the maple syrup and chia seeds and stir well. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes while stirring. The jam will thicken as it cools. You can store leftover jam in the refrigerator for at least a few days.
Mix the oatmeal, milk, yogurt, and chia seeds in a bowl. Also add the cinnamon and a pinch of salt, and stir well. Let it sit covered in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight. Then, if necessary, add extra milk.
Serve the overnight oats with the chia raspberry jam, nut butter, fresh fruit, and possibly cacao nibs.
