Purasana's organic cacao powder is extracted from the seed of the Theobroma cacao, a small evergreen tree that grows in tropical climates.
Purasana chooses organic and vegan top-quality cacao from Peru, despite the challenges in the cacao market. We adhere to strict standards:
To use, add 15 g of cacao powder to 300 ml of rice or oat drink. For a surprising effect, add a scoop of cacao powder to lattes, cakes or muffins.

Our cacao is no longer labelled “raw” because we choose clear and honest communication.
To optimise flavour, colour and solubility, our cacao undergoes gentle processing. This does not align with every interpretation of the term “raw”. As there is no official definition, we have decided to stop using this wording to avoid confusion.
What truly matters remains unchanged. Our cacao maintains the same high quality, nutritional value and safety. It is still 100 percent organic, thoroughly tested, and known for the rich, full flavour you expect from us.
