Purasana's Kombucha Natural is brewed using an authentic fermentation recipe with green tea, sugar and water. The kombucha is organic, vegan and contains no additives.
Kombucha is a slightly effervescent fermented drink made from green tea.
Like all kombuchas, the brewing process starts with tea leaves, water and sugar. To the brewed mixture, the manufacturer then adds a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts (SCOBY). To grow good bacterial colonies, the SCOBY (or 'the mother') eats the sugar from the tea. Kombucha is definitely not a source of sugar.
Purasana's kombucha is brewed according to an authentic recipe. Carbonic acid is created by the fermentation process and is not added afterwards.
Pour the kombucha into a glass and let rest for a while. Be sure not to shake the bottle! You can get rid of excess carbonation by rolling the kombucha in your glass for a while. Drink 100-150 ml of kombucha twice a day to reap the benefits. Your body will need some getting used to the fermented particles first. Not suitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Start with 100-150 ml, twice a day. After a few days you can try a bit more, but let your body get used to the kombucha slowly. Kombucha is best drunk cold.
