Genuine Japanese matcha
Purasana's Classic Matcha is the preferred variety for learning about the many benefits of matcha. The origin of matcha lies in Japan, the tea country par excellence! This green tea has a thorough and careful production process in which the tea leaves are picked, steamed and ground into powder. The result is a refined powder with a mild flavour.
Source of antioxidants
Matcha is an important source of antioxidants, particularly the catechin ECGC (epigallocatechin gallate), which protects cells against oxidative stress. The antioxidant content is expressed in an ORAC value of 3100 H-ORAC units.

Usage

Once per day
Absolutely! Add 3g of matcha to 200ml of soy or rice drink for a shake, or 1g to 70-100ml of near-hot water for an invigorating tea. Add some extra punch to smoothies, juices or lattés with a scoop of Classic Matcha!
Please note: Matcha powder is not suitable for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women due to the presence of caffeine.
