Description
Digestion goes through many steps in the body before the body releases waste.
What if your food is not digesting properly?
If your food is not properly digested, you may experience problems with bowel movements, think irregular pattern, varying consistency and bits of food in the stool. Bacteria and other microorganisms in your gut help to digest that food.
What to do for poor digestion
You get good digestion by eating healthy (and slowly), drinking enough water, getting enough exercise and curbing stress.
What can also help?
What can also help is adding more good bacteria, enzymes and fibre to your diet. Digestion Probiotics Energy delivers these ingredients in a unique superfood blend.
Healthy digestion, less fatigue
Good probiotic bacteria
Energy with Megaflora contains 9 probiotic bacterial strains that occur naturally in the gut. These live bacteria are encapsulated in a matrix that protects the bacteria from external influences.
These live bacteria are encapsulated in a matrix that protects the bacteria from external influences.
Thanks to that encapsulation 90% of those bacteria survive throughout digestion. That survival rate is expressed in the unit CFU/g, which stands for "colony-forming units per gram".
That survival rate is expressed in the unit CFU/g, which stands for "colony-forming units per gram".
Quality is more important than quantity, because what good is a bunch of dead bacteria that can't make lactic acid anyway? Lactic acid helps digest your food and contributes to a healthy gut.
Digestive enzymes
ZyMate® Max provides 10 plant enzymes, including bromelain and lactase, that the body uses to digest lactose, carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Proper functioning of the digestive enzymes contributes to healthy digestion.
Fibre for healthy digestion
Energy also provides soluble fibre from acacia and non-soluble fibre from psyllium. Fibre absorbs water and adds volume to stools, contributing to healthy digestion. Good bacteria in your gut love fibre, which is why it is also useful for intestinal flora.
Fighting fatigue with superfoods
Digestive problems are often accompanied by fatigue. To combat that lack of energy, the formula contains red beetroot, guarana and vitamin C. Guarana is a source of natural caffeine, providing a long-lasting and steady energy boost. Vitamin C helps reduce fatigue and fatigue in the body.
Digestion Probiotics Energy: usage
Energy comes in a 140g pack containing 20 servings. To use, add 7 g of powder to 250 ml of water or yoghurt. Stir and the product is ready to use. Suitable for daily use in the morning or afternoon. Perfect as a 20-day cure!
Lumps or clumps in your drink? Stir well and leave for a while, or use a shaker to get an even texture. Sediment at the bottom is perfectly normal; these are the fibres from the mix starting to bind to the water. After 10-15 minutes, the drink will therefore take on a thicker gel texture.

ZyMate® Max: role of enzymes
ZyMate® Max contains ten enzymes that break down substances from food so that they are small enough to pass through the intestinal wall and then travel to the cells via the blood. The higher the values of these enzymes, the better they are at breaking down substances.
- Alpha-amylase breaks down starch and glycogen into maltose and glucose. Activity is measured in DU (Dextrinizing Units).
- Gluco-amylase breaks down starch and maltodextrin into glucose. Activity is measured in AGU (Amyloglucosidase Units).
- Alpha-galactosidase breaks down complex carbohydrates, such as those in legumes, into glucose and galactose. Activity is measured in GAL (Galactosidase Units).
- Lactase breaks down lactose, the sugar in milk, into glucose and galactose. Activity is measured in ALU (Lactase Units).
- Protease breaks down proteins into amino acids. Neutral protease works optimally at a pH value around 7 (e.g., in the small intestine) and is expressed in HUT (Hemoglobin Unit Tyrosine base). Acid protease works optimally in an acidic environment (e.g., in the stomach) and is expressed in SAPU (Spectrophotometric Acid Protease Units).
- Bromelain and papain break down proteins into amino acids and peptides. Activity is measured in PU (Gelatin Digesting Units).
- Lipase breaks down fats, oils, and triglycerides into fatty acids and monoglycerides. Activity is measured in FIP (Federation Internationale Pharmaceutique).
- Cellulase breaks down cellulose (fibres) into short-chain fatty acids. Activity is measured in CU (Cellulase Units).
Megaflora 9 Evo: role of the matrix
Megaflora 9 Evo powder is encapsulated in a matrix that helps live bacteria survive until they reach the gut. This technology called ProbioAct®, consists of starch, inulin, and the enzyme amylase, among others.
The matrix helps to protect the bacterial strains from environmental factors such as temperature changes, moisture, and exposure to oxygen. In addition, the matrix is a food source for the bacteria, allowing them to optimally colonise the intestines and produce active substances such as lactic acid there.
