  • Gluten-free wholemeal oatmeal flour forms the nutritious base. It provides complex carbohydrates and fibre and replaces traditional white flour.
  • Rice protein increases the protein content in a plant-based way. This means that the mix contains more protein than a standard baking mix.
  • Acacia fibre and psyllium fibre support the texture and ensure a light baking result without synthetic additives.

Purasana Protein Pancake & Muffin Mix has been developed with a focus on nutritional value, versatility and ease of use:

Usage

Makes 6–8 large pancakes or up to 20 small ones:

  • Mix 200 g of mix with 1 egg and 300 ml of water.
  • Bake in a hot pan with a little oil.

For 6 muffins:

  • Mix 200 g of mix with 1 egg, 150 ml of water and 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Fill moulds two-thirds full and bake for 15 to 17 minutes at 195 °C.

Tip: add banana, blueberries or chocolate chips for extra flavour.

Use the dough immediately. The fibres cause it to become soggy quickly. After preparation, they can be stored for a few days in an airtight container in the fridge.
